The MD-8CH-1RU-CWDM-1310-DX has an Expansion Port that expands the capabilities of the MUX to further leverage your Fibre Infrastructure in the future if the need arises. This includes OADM modules, Pass Port modules and Wavelength / Channel modules.

This MD-8CH-1RU-CWDM-1310-DX is a Dual Core Fibre MUX. This means you will need to interface with a pair of Fibre Cores.

The MD-8CH-1RU-CWDM-1310-DX has a 1310nm Pass Port that enables you to use legacy optics over your fibre. See the important notes below regarding this feature.
