This CWDN (Coarse Wavelength Division Multiplex/Demultiplex) provides you with the scalability to expand a fibre optic network without the need to change fibers running at different wavelengths. This cost saving solution is achived by either combining signals together known as Multiplexing (Mux), or by spliting signals apart known as Demultiplexing (Demux)
